The electricity generated by the PortaDyne depends upon :

• the amount of sunshine the PortaDyne receives per day
• the average wind speed at your location
• the PortaDyne configuration chosen for the specific application

Depending on the use to which the electricity is being put, scheduling can maximize the actual power available :

• residential lighting can be restricted to a specific number of hours per night
• pumping ( e.g. for irrigation ) can be restricted to daytime, when houses don't need lighting
• some items ( e.g. a refrigerator ) would be operated 24/7
• power for water purification might be scheduled from midnight to dawn
